Item Description

A classic example of the famous Jackson Crossroads Amethysts featuring a few very sharp, well-formed, highly lustrous, striated, "stubby" crystals off matrix. A couple of the small crystals on the back are actually doubly-terminated. The termination of the main crystals is a beautiful purple hue with nearly white / colorless Quartz in the center, and a notable internal "phantom" near the top. The crystals are gemmy to translucent inside, and the piece is essentially damage free on the display side. Classic material from one of the premier Amethyst localities in the world. A great thumbnail for a US collector, a Quartz collector or for somebody who enjoys well-crystallized specimens.
