A lovely specimen of Bixbyite on Topaz from Utah. A nice little thumbnail display specimen of this hard to rare material from this classic locality. Sharp, well-formed crystals of black Bixbyite measure up to 4 mm sitting on a single sherry colored prismatic crystal of gemmy Topaz. Classic material from this world famous locality, and some of the finest quality Bixbyite in the world. This piece comes to us from an old East Coast collection, and dates back around 50 years.
