Item Description

An adorable and unusual thumbnail cluster of stepped two-tone rhodochrosite scalenohedrons from the famous late 1970s find at this renowned mine. Gorgeous rich cherry-red rhodo forms the first generation. An unusual second generation of rose-pine rhodo crowns some of the crystals. An additional unusual feature is that all of the crystals have flat terminations and the scattered manganite flecks add even more interest. This cutie is pristine and has several fine display views. It GLOWS, when back lit! valued over $1000, easily.
