Mineral specimens are RARE from this less well-known Michigan quarry near the famous Maybee Quarry. Large and rich strontianite specimens, such as this are EXTREMELY RARE. The sculptural large vug is richly and aesthetically filled with sparkly spherical aggregates of nubby, creamy-yellow and off-white strontianite. A few scattered glassy, colorless celestine prisms are a super accent. Bright white and light yellow fluorescence. Choice and rare material from the Robert Nowakowski Collection # 216 and collected in January, 2013. A MUST for the species, locality or fluorescent collector.
