Description:This is an astounding, limpid, gem fluorite crystal. The crystal is very lustrous and absolutely transparent along with exhibiting a superb, rich pink color. It is the largest truly GEM CLEAR pink fluorite I have seen. It is big but not perfect, as the back is cleaved - but that is not evident when the crystal is displayed upright and it just looks like a pink jewel. Also the lower left corner has been contacted by another crystal, hence is asymmetric. But it is big and pink and GEMMY ! The gem weight is 227 grams. Superb as a crystal or gem rough, this is from remarkable new finds (summer 2011) at this rich mineral locality.
