  • Size:21.5 x 17.8 x 10.3 cm
  • Size Description:LARGE CABINET

Description:This specimen features a HUGE cubic fluorite, perched dramatically on sparkling black-brown sphalerite. The fluorite is lustrous and translucent , colorless to purple fluorite. The intergrown cubes reach to 9.5 cm on a side The large crystals are nearly pristine and exhibit stepped growth as shown in the closeup but more apparent, and interesting, in person. The sharp crystal perched smartly on matrix is just ideal aesthetics. It is very hard to get such things today, as they come out of only the older collections now. Such pieces would have been found in the late 1970s through mid 1980s, primarily. This is indeed a very striking specimen and weighs a lot - it is nearly 10 inches across! It is 8.4 pounds weight. valued $6000. Ex Consie Prince collection. Extra shipping cost will apply due to size and weight.
