Description:A rich specimen of blocky rhodonite crystals, frozen within white calcite matrix. Although we have not done it, you can spend some time etching away the calcite with acid and expose more rhodonite within, perhaps even some good terminations. As is, though, it is rough material with few crystal faces on the outside, and is more a reference sample from this old mine. Valued $500. Hefty, at several pounds weight
