Item Description

Stacked, lozenge-like crystals to 1 cm across, of lustrous, dark blue azurite are aesthetically perched on a light brown matrix. A few pinpricks of neon blue light can sometimes be seen. This is a very fine miniature with incredibly shapr crystals of a quite rare habit of azurite crystals from Tsumeb. Probably of 1960s or 1970s vintage, I cannot recall seeing quite this habit, in such a nice miniature, in some time. valued $1000-1200
