Item Description
This IS NOT just another quartz from this once-productive locale. Many tons came out. Of those, few were citrine and most were amethyst or amethystine. This is COLORFUL, and would have leapt out even back in the day (now, 10-12 years ago or more?!). It is a fine cluster of slender, hematite included quartz crystals to 9 cm in length, mostly covered by a second generation of sparkling, iridescent, drusy quartz, giving the cluster a bronze colored citrine glow. The cluster is in pristine condition. It I sbetter in person - the photos are accurate withut being overdone or shot with lights in close range to the piece. It actually is, for a common species in general, a unique occurrence and style, that this find will be well known for in the future. The quality and color is such that it fits any collection. Valued $1500-2000
