This is a very large, superb, doubly terminated, glassy and gemmy, crystal of colorless quartz, with dramatic extended C axis that you DO NOT usually see fomr this locality! I. The quartz crystals from this area are so glassy and gemmy that they are famously called by their moniker, a "Herkimer Diamond." This is sharp, really bright, and just amazing for the symmetry.
