Item Description

A spectacular find, of robust included red quartz crystals from famous finds of the late 1990s and early 2000's. Trace amounts of included hematite has given this divergent cluster of quartz crystals a distinctly light blood-orange color. The terminations of the two largest crystals, to 5 cm in length, are gemmy and colorless, otherwise the crystals are colored. Peripheral contact/damage is present but does not materially affect the quality of the specimen. These robust crystals came out over a few years and then were gone. Slender, needlelike crystals came after. Now, all are old finds, and seldom seen on the resale market. This is a fine old specimen of excellent aesthetics, and ideal small cabinet size. valued $1200-1500
