Item Description
PLEASE NOTE that this piece weighs approximately 8 pounds (approximately 3.6 kg), so there will be a fairly hefty shipping fee. Please keep this in mind when bidding. The majority of the display side of the piece is covered with beautiful sky blue radiating aggregates of Smithsonite with a soft velvety luster. The thinner edge of the specimen features a thin layer of bright blue Rosasite. Minor areas feature a small amount of Barite, while others show small crystals of Quartz and tiny spots of Galena can be seen on the piece when you look closely. It's a fairly showy overall specimen, and a great "museum" piece of this hard to find in such size today. Valued at $1,800.
