Descloizite

A superb small cabinet with excellent spear-point bladed crystals of cinnamon-colored Descloizite. This specimen is composed of sharp blades, themselves composed of sharp octahedral crystals or en echelon crystals that form distinct, spine-like spearpoints. The Descloizite has excellent luster and color. The edges of some of the extensive blades have been snapped, as would be expected for something so exposed, but this blends right in with the overall habit and geometry. It is, in my opinion, a fine specimen for a species which is often dull and earthy. Anything but, this is good Descloizite.
