Item Description

A large thumbnail / toenail sized specimen of rarely seen Anglesite from the locality is best known for its beautiful Wulfenite specimens. This piece is a fairly sharp and well-formed complex group of translucent, soft golden-yellow colored Anglesite free of matrix. The piece is crystallized most of the way around, save the bottom where it detached from the matrix. There are few opportunities to obtain a specimen of Anglesite from Los Lamentos, and this piece would make a great addition to a secondary ore mineral collection or a suite of Mexian minerals. From the collection of Senator / Dr. Miguel Romero of Teuhuacan, Mexico (Collection #167).
