Item Description

A wonderful example of the classic Guerrero Amethysts featuring an aesthetic group of intensely colored crystals that are nearly completely transparent in the center with the famous Siberian purple color which transitions into a white / colorless hue at the terminations. Good condition all around with only a tiny bit of trivial edge wear. The piece does have a saw mark on the bottom to allow it to be displayed without the aid of a base or clay. From the collection of Senator / Dr. Miguel Romero of Teuhuacan, Mexico (Collection #8088). The piece is accompanied by a label from Miguel's personal collection and a label from Western Minerals.
