Azurite and Malachite

Azurite and malachite specimens from Touissit are a worldwide classic and this is a fine and aesthetic miniature example. Sculpturally intergrown azurite crystals with the finest deep blue color, sharp faces, and very high luster are partially pseudomorphed to malachite. The two main crystals are in great shape with only a small bruise on the back edge of the large crystal termination. An impressive aspect is the fact that all of the crystals have gemmy "electric-blue" color under bright light. Few localities in the world produce azurite of this quality.
