Item Description

Native tantalum is ultra rare, found at only three places on Earth and at a Lunar landing site! This sculptural, splendent, metallic-gray, well-crystallized solid mass was first reported from this obscure Russian locality in 1998. EXTREMELY rare on the market from this locale. The specimen is in a magnifying lucite box. Ex Josef Vajdak Collection. Vajdak is a specialist in such rarities and worked often with the Czech Geological Survey
