Item Description

An attractive peachy-orange colored prismatic, thick, gemmy crystal of Eosphorite from Linopolis. The crytal has an excellent termination and the crystal is undamaged, save the base where it was removed from the pocket wall. Great quality, color and gemminess! A fine thumbnail specimen of this uncommon phosphate. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#7159). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
