Item Description
A classic and very hard to find specimen of wire Gold from the famous Wire Patch Mine in Breckenridge, Colorado. This piece was self-collected by Brian Kosnar in 1991 by walking over Farncomb Hill with a metal detector. The piece shows beautiful "curled" form with rich color. It's very hard to obtain specimens from this famous Colorado locality, and even smaller pieces like this are certainly worth picking up if you collect native elements, worldwide Gold specimens or even Colorado minerals.
