Item Description

A classic, rare and beautiful piece of the elusive Jordanite specimens from the Segen Gottes Mine, Wiesloch, Germany. The front face of the specimen features attractive banded groups of silvery-grey Jordanite associated with reddish-brown Sphalerite and white Calcite. These specimens are very hard to find on the market, and when they're polished like this, it looks fantastic. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#11714) and accompanied by an old Ward's label and a label from Ara. T. Dildilian. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
