Prehnite with Epidote

These specimens certainly have been few and far between. I personally have only seen a handful of them over the last few years. This specimen features many translucent/gemmy, semi-lustrous, water-green color radiating aggregates of Prehnite associated with dark green color Epidote on matrix. The Prehnites have formed somewhat "clamshell"-shaped groups, which measure up to 1.2 cm across. It is not terribly common to find Prehnite with Epidote from this locality, but it's attractive to be sure. This locality seems to be producing less material than a few years ago, and this piece would certainly make a very esoteric addition to any Chinese suite.
