Item Description

The various ore bodies in Peru have produced some of the finest crystallized examples of various common sulfides in the world. These specimens were all the rage a few decades ago, and should still be appreciated by collectors for their quality. This attractive display specimen features sharp, well-formed, silvery-grey colored tetrahedra of Tetrahedrite measuring up to 1.2 cm associated with Quartz. The piece has only a tiny bit of visible damage, and looks better in person, so don't pass this one up if you collect sulfides or association pieces.
