A gem of a 3-piece deal of sculptural, gemmy, polished tourmaline slices from the Uwe Strauss Collection. These beauties have strikingly different colors and internal form. The gorgeous large multi-hued slab with the fantastic propeller in the center is a classic liddicoatite (now tourmaline) from Madagascar. The watermelon slab is probably from the famous Pederneira Mine and small very pretty slab is from an unknown Brazilian pegmatite. A very fine, colorful and distinctively different trio of tourmaline slices. Total mass is 28.1 carats or nearly 6 grams. The large slice is 12.3 carats. These would make beautiful jewelry.
