Item Description

Some of the world's finest Aegirine crystals are found at Mount Malosa. This particular piece features superb quality, sharp, highly lustrous, deep greenish-black prismatic crystals of Aegirine measuring up to 3.4 cm. For a Pyroxene, you can't ask for much sharper or lustrous crystals than Malawi Aegirines. These don't get the credit they deserve for as fine as they are.
