Dolomite (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

A good sized, sharp, rather lustrous, GEM/gemmy colorless rhombohedron of Dolomite off matrix. Very fine quality all around and actually transparent in areas. The crystal is nearly 100% damage free, and the best part is that it is for the most part smooth and undamaged along the edges, and not all chipped up and cleaved like so many we've seen from this area. A small spot near the corner is contacted, but as you can see from the photos, it displays very well. From the collection of Brian Kosnar with an old Larry Conklin (oringally erroneously labeled as coming from Pamplona). Valued at $900.
