Andradite Garnet (excellent)

Item Description

A very fine cluster of large intergrown garnet crystals, reaching to 3.5 cm across, glow with a splendent luster. The crystals appear brown to black but have gemmy golden-yellow, hair-like highlights when lit well. It is about the brightest garnet luster I have seen from here. They glisten with intense almost-metallic luster. Excellent material from this obscure locale.
