These are some of the most well-known quartz specimens in the world. This is an outstanding thumbnail matrix specimen of a water-clear, sharp, doubly-terminated crystal jauntily perched on just a shard of matrix. The crystal looks like a faceted gemstone and the included platelets of black bitumen really add character. Really cute and classic older material from the Mullane Collection and comes with a Burminco label from the 1950 or 60s. Pristine and just about as aesthetic as it gets for the size.
