Description:Sculptural and aesthetic Bisbee malachite 'feathers', such as this, are very seldom on the market. The blade or 'feather' is composed of nicely chatoyant, extremely elongated, acicular primary malachite crystals. Beautifully displayable from either side. The termination and edges are pristine. The protruding branch at the base has a lightly bruised tip. Classic, excellent and rare Bisbee. Undoubtably older material, but no proof. Choice material from the Dennis Mullane Bisbee Collection.
