Description:Combination specimens of dioptase, calcite and mottramite are rare from Tsumeb. The front of this very fine piece is covered with classic, gemmy and lustrous, rich emerald-green dioptase crystals of top quality. The reverse of the plate is totally different! Glassy, sharp, calcite rhombs and just a few dioptase crystals are scattered on a rich covering of tufted sprays of pretty light mint-green, acicular mottramite crystals. An extremely fine and colorful example of these Tsumeb species in rare combination. Ex Howard Belsky Collection. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
