Description:Well-crystallized, large schorl crystals from any New Hampshire locality are RARE. This imposing, complete all-around crystal has splendent prism faces and interestingly, dense parallel, stepped-growth on the three lustrous termination faces. Nearly pristine, with only trivial bruising to the termination tip and one small area of contacting on one side. Impressive and rare large schorl from the famous Rice Quarry. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection. 584 grams or nearly 1.3 pounds.
