Description:Faden quartz is very well-known from this locale and this is an excellent and aesthetic example. Stacked, branching, water-clear, tabular, quartz crystals with a distinct faden or "string" line clearly visible running through the crystals from top to bottom. All of the crystals have beautiful beveled edges. Nearly pristine, with only very trivial termination edge wear scattered about. This is indeed, a striking and very fine two-sided specimen from this late 1990s find. Specimens of this quality disappeared very quickly. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
