Description:A 'golden' deal of three, sculptural, flattened, river-worn, gold nuggets from the historic Yuba River placers area. They were mined and kept in a family collection since the 1950s or 1960s, I was told by my source, who sold that particular family collection. They have a rich, mellow-yellow patina and really interesting, rounded, pointy forms. Total weight is 8.7 grams. The current gold price is over $1606/ounce or over $56/gram. Bullion value is $450. Specimen value is more. For this locality, they are excellent.
