Description:Supremely chatoyant and striking sprays of banded, acicular malachite are beautifully scattered in the vuggy limonite matrix on this classic, very showy old-time specimen from a historic German mining district. Specimens of this quality are seldom on the market from this locale, which has produced some of the finest European malachite. It looks like malachite from Bisbee or Congo.
