Description:A 3.7 cm, light yellow-green, heliodor beryl crystal is aesthetically set on the side of quartz matrix on this showy specimen from the famous Rice Quarry of New Hampshire. Beryl specimens are relatively rare and helidors are very rare from this noted locale. The glassy, textbook, hexagonal crystal is gemmy in the upper 1.3 cm and has a pristine termination. For the locality, this is outstanding and rare material. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection # 822 and acquired in 1977.
