Description:The Bennett Quarry is a well-known Maine pegmatite, opening in 1916. This interesting and showy quartz specimen features stacked, doubly-terminated quartz crystals accented with nifty sprays of smaller second generation quartz crystals. The crystals have grown in parallel-growth, giving the specimen beautiful overall form. Nearly pristine, with only very minimal bruising. Ex Schlichter Collection.
