Description:Zeolite specimens from famous pegmatites of Afghanistan are incredibly rare. Leave it to intrepid dealer Herb Obodda to have a possibly unique combination stilbite specimen from Nuristan. Upright, pearlescent diverging bundles of light brown stilbite blades host a sharply terminated, 2.7 cm, water-clear quartz crystal. The quartz is lightly contacted, with no damage, per se and has only a bit of trivial edge wear. This is an outstanding, nearly pristine, 360-degree specimen and it is very aesthetic.
