Description:Three, intergrown, glassy, transparent to translucent, ivory-colored calcite scalenohedrons are esthetically set on the plate of splendent, partially gemmy, rubyjack sphalerite crystals on this dramatic and excellent large combination specimen from the famous Elmwood Mine. The large calcite is 7.5 cm and the smaller calcite in the front is doubly terminated. The tip of the large crystal is cleaved. This remains an imposing and highly representative large example of the species and noted locale. Older material from the Consie Prince Collection.
