Description:A striking and most excellent, two-sided wulfenite and calcite specimen from the famous Glove Mine. One side is capped by a stunning, 3.4 cm wide, glassy, butterscotch-colored, compound wulfenite crystal. Intergrown, pearlescent, calcite rhombs preferentially coat and "hide" the wulfenite treasure beneath on the other side. The large wulfie is nearly pristine, with only trivial bruising. This very fine combination specimen is much more robust, than typical Glove Mine specimens. Classic material from the Harold Urish Collection and valued at $400.
