Description:Classic, translucent, lightly frosted, "Blanchard-blue", fluorite cubes to 2.3 cm line the vug of this impressive LARGE CABINET specimen from the famous Blanchard Mine of New Mexico. The teal-blue cubes have intense to faint purple edges and rest on colorless fluorite crystals and quartz. The vuggy back is covered with glassy quartz points. The photos highlight the translucency and color saturations, including the purple edges. The fluorite field is in great shape, with just trivial bit of periphery wear. Highly representative and showy large, two-sided combination material from this noted locale. Note that these should not be exposed to sunlight, or they fade (though room light is OK). Contemporary classic material. 8.4 pounds or 3.8 kilos. valued $1000-1200
