Description:Three, sharp and lustrous, intergrown sodalite crystals are elegantly perched atop marble matrix on this showy and excellent example of the species from finds in Afghanistan, having been stashed back. The cluster displays 360-degrees beautifully and the large crystal has just a trivial bit of bruising. The base has been sawed to enhance the display quality. These are SODALITE, in exceptional sharpness such that they look like the lapis lazuli (lazulite) crystals found in the area, at first. The marble matrix fluoresces moderate pink-orange. Very little new material has come out recently, due to the conflict. valued $500
