Description:A beautifully elegant combination specimen from the most famous tourmaline locality in Pakistan. The gemmy and lustrous, bi-colored tourmaline is dramatically and aesthetically cloaked in pearlescent, bladed cleavelandite crystals. The lower portion of the tourmaline is gemmy to translucent, olive-green, followed by the beautiful, gemmy, bottle-green 4 mm section. Sharply above is the starkly contrasting very soft baby pink to nearly achroite termination zone. The well-striated prism faces and black termination are highly lustrous, which is NOT common for these crystals. The gemminess is excellent and the sharp color zoning is breathtaking. This is a superb display piece and a wonderful pegmatite specimen from a classic locality. These pieces are becomingly increasingly difficult to find in today's market, especially in this quality. This super miniature dates to the 1980s finds. Unbelievably, complete all-around and pristine, even the cleavelandite blades! This is a killer, competition-level miniature. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock, who brought most of these to market. Choice! valued $750
