Description:A glorious, old-time and uncommon Tsumeb combination specimen. Scintillating, gemmy, rich cognac-colored, wulfenite prisms to 9 mm are festooned on especially the striking knob of the sculptural, sintered matrix. Yellow, melted-look, botryoidal mimetite is a super and uncommon accessory. The sparkle, gemminess and color of the wulfies are exemplary, even if the crystals are small. Fine Tsumeb wulfenite specimens, such as this, are just not that common. Undoubtably old, upper oxidized zone, pre World War II material with the faded German label. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection. Valued at $1250-1500.
