Description:A striking, parallel-growth cluster of rust-red and multi-layered, translucent, chalcedony stalactites from a recent find in Java, Indonesia. The stalactites are beautifully luminous in bright light. The broken tips reveal the concentric rings, where the silica-rich solutions flowed to form the stalactites. The solid color of this one is very unusual for the lot. Excellent material from an exotic locale for mineral specimens! This one has great visual appeal.
