Description:An extremely rare and striking quartz crystal cluster from an unknown locality in Gunnsion County, Colorado. The sharp, water-clear, colorless crystals to 4.5 cm have a yellow, metallic-like coating that gives off dramatic rainbow iridescence, when rotated in bright light. We have not seen a Colorado quartz with this quality. Perhaps unique for this locality? Ex Richard Hauck Quartz Collection and comes with a 1983 date.
