Description:A really attractive and unique large fluorite specimen showing a really unique, rich yellow-orange color, with amazing gemminess when backlit. The piece is essentially a slab of tightly intergrown cubic crystals, but please note that it does have a saw mark on the back. The cubes reach 3.5 cm on this piece. The internal color is captivating, and really makes one think of something other than a mineral when you hold it up to the light. Unusual for sure, and a worthwhile piece to add to a fluorite suite. China never seems to run out of interesting and unusual specimens, even when it comes to common species like fluorite.
