Description:Nagyagite specimens (lead-gold-telluride) from this historic Type Locality gold mining district are quite rare and are highly desirable. Splendent, laminar crystals to 7 mm are very attractively clustered on the matrix plate covered with knobby rosettes of pinkish-gray rhodochrosite blades and a few quartz crystals. Quality specimens, such as this, of this classic, old-time combination material undoubtably date to the 1800s, but no proof. Valued at $1500. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection.
