Description:A beautiful, gemmy and lustrous, well-striated, color-zoned green, tourmaline from the famous Himalaya Mine. The body of the crystal is a very juicy emerald-green, while the upper 15 millimeters is olive-green. Complete all-around and essentially pristine, with only super-trivial contacting at the base. This is a highly desirable, KILLER gem, rare green pencil tourmaline from the Himalaya and dates to the Ralph Potter era, 1958-62. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection # 43 (a very low, old number). 5 grams.
