Description:An extremely aesthetic and rare quality datolite and quartz combination specimen from the famous Bor Pit. Two very glassy, pretty seafoam-green, intergrown datolite crystals are very attractively perched on the side of a glassy, transparent to tranlucent quartz "spire". The upper part of the spire has very unusual and very interesting, chevron-shaped, stepped-growth on four of the six crystal faces. Complete all-around and pristine, this is an exceptional combination piece from the Bor Pit. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection.
