Description:Glassy light purple, fluorite cubes to 1.6 cm comprise this excellent, mounded CABINET piece from the famous Blackdene Mine of England. The fluorites are transparent and translucent and many crystals are interpenetrating twins. Scattered tiny pyrite crystals are a nice accent. This fine specimen is very nearly pristine, with only trivial periphery wear. Amazing for such dense coverage. Classic material from a classic locale in Weardale. Ex Robert Whimore and valued at $750-900. SUPER fluorescence under both long wave and short wave lighting.
