Description:A striking and uncommon combination specimen from the famous Himalaya Mine. A 3.2 cm, gemmy and lustrous, classic bi-color tourmaline with a "Himalaya pink" body has a yellowish, olive-green, pincacoidal termination. The tourmaline is very aesthetically attached to the side of an impressive, sharp, complete all-around, doubly terminated, transparent to translucent, slightly smoky quartz crystal. A trivial bit of tourmaline termination wear is noted , and both of the smoky terminations are very slightly bruised but this is minimal in context. Irregardless, this remains a very significant combination piece from this classic locale, and it displays excellently in a case. Rarely on the market in combination quality. Valued at $1500-2000.
